I thought all of our loyal readers deserve to know exactly how and when Jenna became a boo. It all started months ago when Jenna was about 3-4 months old and just started to sleep through the night. Up until that point, Liz and I were so conditioned to Jenna waking up at some point in the evening, we would almost look forward to the prospects of being entertained by her a bit more that day. When Jenna stopped waking up, we'd look at each other and wonder, "Now what?" It was a messy transition at first; while we'd do our best to tip-toe silently into her room to catch a peek, inevitably the floors would squeek and Jenna would startle. Still, the new parents that we were, desperate to see our baby, we adapted and began watching her even more on the video monitor (aka Jenna vision). And as we'd watch her sleep it was so peaceful that you just couldn't help but say, "she's just a little boo." So there you have it--boo is born and here to stay.
